FOUNDERS:

Lyndia Leonard

I am a Mother. While I have had many other titles, to me this is the most important. Raising responsible, emotionally literate children is the biggest contribution any of us can make to a world that seems at times, to be careening out of control. I have 4 children, two birth children, one adopted and one who lived with us for an extended period of time. Three of them are highly functioning adults, the youngest chose to take his own life in a state of frustration, depression and drug use. Our family was devastated from the experience and it sent us into a healing crisis and on a search to understand how this could happen to our sweet family.

Our loss occurred several years ago and Meredith Project is a part of our healing and give back to the millennials who are searching to find their way in life. We want to assist these young ones and their families with our understanding of depression, addiction and suicide, so no one has this experience if asking for assistance.

On a professional level my degrees and training are in the field of Social Work, business and teaching. My experiences are as diverse as Public Radio (when it was a new idea), community art projects, appointments by a Governor of Oregon to a Task Force on Children, founder of a number of nonprofit organizations including a credit union, two charter schools, two domestic violence shelters, an organization which funds social change projects, a successful business and many other diverse endeavors. I do not watch TV so I have an extra 20-30 hours weekly to work on projects that interest me.

For now, my personal commitment is to healing myself on all levels and to assist those who are wanting to find understanding and healing in order to live a joyful life.

Lance Leonard

A Brief History: In my twenties my wife and I created a successful health business. This enabled me to spend my thirties raising our youngest son and building a 42 foot sailboat. The next decade was spent sailing, parenting, traveling and working on several nonprofit projects. In my fifties tragedy struck when we lost our 24 year old son to suicide. Only through our foundation of personal development and support from loving friends did we manage to weather this intense storm. Meredith Project is a positive way forward for us, a way to contribute to our youth.
World View: My world view flows out of a commitment to examine that which we are taught to ignore. Our culture places great significance on knowledge, yet is deeply lacking in wisdom. Uncovering the significance of our personal and societal unconscious assumptions about life brings clarity. We all innately seek a meaningful life and we can access that life through internal inquiry. Life itself becomes the teacher and classroom for the development of deep satisfaction and empowerment. We have much to learn about the nature of life from indigenous cultures and our true past. I see the world through the lens of “life as a Spiritual Adventure.”

Activities: Currently I am CEO of a health products company called New Phoenix Rising. In addition to my business experience, I have worked in radio, counseling, mentoring youth, carpentry and am trained in the fine art of traditional wooden boat building. I’ve been instrumental in the founding of several social change and cultural organizations and events. I have logged over 10,000 ocean sailing miles, much of that as captain of the sailing vessel Alyria, a wooden schooner replica. I enjoy anything to do with water, especially the salty kind. I am a father, grandfather and husband of 40 years.

Goals: As a founder and steward of Meredith Project, I envision an atmosphere in which young people feel welcome, heard and understood. One in which they can discover their inner motivations, develop life skills and begin a pattern of positive choices which in turn support a life in harmony with their soul path.

Anastasia Kurilich

Every human being has a need to be loved and to belong. But we unconsciously carry our family burdens as we seek to fulfill this need within the family system. Combining Generational Soul (™) work with the Living Breath (™) practices brings lasting transformation as the hidden entanglements and dynamics we inherit from our ancestral lineage are brought to light and healed. Forgiveness and love are palpably felt in body, heart, mind, and spirit–beyond mere words, beliefs, or desires. Results occur for myriad of issues as new neural pathways are forged in the nervous system.

With professional certifications and more than 20 years of experience, Anastasia has acquired a diverse and comprehensive set of tools to draw from in service to embodying our true essence. She is a compassionate, dynamic, and sensitive facilitator, dedicated to assisting others to reclaim their divine birthright of living in a state of joyful wellness and union with God.

Linda Masterson

My calling, which took me decades to find, is to support the alignment between the soul and the personal consciousness. I find great joy in supporting young ones to know their own calling as early as possible.

In my youth, I tried many things ranging from performing as a folk-singer, working as a laboratory assistant, producing a music concert, to restoring a 1790 farmhouse. After moving across the country I became involved in real-estate, personal-growth training and studied astrology.

Next, I travelled a lot; to the former Soviet Union as a citizen diplomat, to Mexico’s Yucatan to research Mayan Prophecy, to Australia to participate in the International Gathering of Tribes, and to Hawaii to develop deep roots in the community on Kauai.

In between trips, I engaged in activities ranging from managing a university public-health unit, book publishing, living off the grid and learning about sustainability, heirloom seeds and Hopi Prophecy, studying and teaching spirituality, to overseeing a $40 million construction project.

Through a life of great variety, I have distilled the ability to speak with people from many backgrounds, to illuminate the Path of the Soul. It is my intention to support all who are drawn to participate in the Meredith Project in being aware of their purpose, and empowered in expressing it in a state of fulfillment and joy.
